Ernest O. Muchmore

Ernest O. Muchmore, age 93, of Marion, passed away at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011, at the Wesleyan Health & Rehabilitation Center, Marion, Indiana.
Ernest was born on October 11, 1917, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Virgil and Delphia (McCoy) Muchmore. He married Irene Kirkwood on August 7, 1937.
Ernest had been in the restaurant business for 36 years. He had also worked at Matthews Buick, Thomas Milling Company, Hiatt Dodge and DeVoe Chevrolet.
Survivors include: two daughters, Jean (Don) Garrison of Marion, Indiana, and Judith Anderson of Muncie, Indiana; five grandchildren, Shari (Tom) Hall, Lori (Clint) Albert, Jamy (Heather) Garrison, Tony (Melissa) Garrison, and Scott (Keri) Garrison; 10 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Lorean Crouch.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Muchmore; and son-in-law, Russell "Andy" Anderson.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2011, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Reverend Brad Garrett officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, August 14, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
