ERNIE FIGLER, age 49, of Jonesboro, died unexpectedly Thursday, November 13, 2008, at home.
Ernie was born on September 9, 1959, in Joliet, Illinois, the son of the late Walter William Figler and Esther Jane (Kipp) Figler.
He worked at the Marion General Motors plant in maintenance for 30 years until his retirement in August, 2008.
Survivors include Sisters, Nancy Kieronski (Ray) and Barbara Anderson (Steve); Nieces & Nephews, Steven, Katie & Johnny Anderson and Scott & Kaitlyn Kieronski; and Aunt & Uncle, Gordon Kipp (Betty).
Ernie was loved by many and was a friend to all. His passion was Bears football & Cubs baseball. There is not a casino he didn't enjoy, as well. His opinionated, enlightening conversations will truly be missed. Rest in peace and Go Bears!
A Gathering of Friends will be held at Tobby's in Jonesboro on Monday, November 17, 2008 beginning at 5:00 p.m.
