Ethel A. Brodkorb, age 79, of Marion, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Suite Living.
She was born March 14, 1936 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Gordon and Marian (Matthews) Knickerbocker. She married Edwin M. Brodkorb on March 3, 1956, and he preceded her in death on March 21, 2013.
She enjoyed helping people out in time of need. She loved spending time with her family and grandkids and going to her grandkid's functions. She especially enjoyed family vacations at Dale Hollow Lake in Tennessee.
She is survived by a son, David K. Brodkorb (Debora Miller) of LaFontaine, Indiana; daughter, Debra L. Hensley (Rick Tardy) of Marion, Indiana; sisters, June (Ken) Pepper of Ohio, Donna Munger of Michigan and Sharon (Bob) Walrath of Florida; grandchildren, Delora Hensley, Kylee (Jacob) Hutt, Ross Hensley (Katie Olson), Ryan (Jodi) Brodkorb and Shannon (Matt) McCollom; great-grandchildren, Brody, Lainey and Bristol Brodkorb and Trey and Kenlee McCollom.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Dale Knickerbocker.
Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2015 in Raven-Choate Funeral Home.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 20, 2015 in the funeral home prior to funeral services.
