EZEKIEL J. "ZEKE" COLUMBUS, age 6, passed away at 11:54 a.m. Monday, August 3, 2009, at home from a condition he had since birth.
Zeke was born on December 27, 2002, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Bolton Thurman and Dixie (Bullock) Thurman.
Zeke had a pleasant spirit and beautiful smile. He loved music and loved to be held. He enjoyed his life while on this earth, loved his van rides and especially loved his sisters and brother. Everyone who met him fell in love with him.
Survivors include: parents, Bolton & Dixie Thurman of Marion, Indiana; brother, Josiah Columbus; sisters, Treniti & Savanah Thurman; grandparents, Dillard "Sonny" Bullock (Melanie) and Carolyn Thurman; aunts, Vanessa Bullock, Cassi Meadows, Helen Bullock and Cindy Eversgard; all of Marion, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by grandpa, Jim Thurman and great-grandpa, Jim Stewart.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 6 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home with the Pastor Garry Vermilion officiating.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 5 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
