Frank M. Hinkel

Frank M Hinkel III, age 76, of Marion, Passed away Friday, June 15, 2018, at Millers Merry Manor, Marion, Indiana.

Frank was born June 27, 1941 in Hamilton, OH to the late Franklin M. and Edith (Davis) Hinkel.

He was employed at General Motors, Marion, Indiana as a tool and die maker for over 44 years.  He retired in 2009. In his younger years he enjoyed muscle cars. The Chevelle was one of his favorites.

He is survived by two sons, Martin Hinkel, Hamilton, OH and Michael (Kimberly) Hinkel, Mason, OH; two brothers, Larry (Barb) Hinkel, West Lafayette, IN and Alan Hinkel, Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren, Matthew Hinkel, Megan and Madison Lucas.  Also surviving is his special friend Patricia Hinkel of Marion, IN.

Friends and family may call from Noon to 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  A memorial service will take place following visitation at 1:00 p.m. Bruce Everett will officiate.
