Gary E. Mashburn, age 53, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in his home.
Gary was born July 20, 1960, in Los Angeles, California, the son of the late Carl Mashburn and Nadine Woods Shakespear, who survives. He married Sherry Baker on March 11, 2000, and she also survives.
He was a machine operator at Sonoco Products. He was also a Navy veteran.
Gary was a fun-spirited man, and he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved his grandchildren.
Survivors include: wife, Sherry Mashburn of Marion, Indiana; mother, Nadine Shakespear of St. John, Utah; two sons, Jonathan Mashburn of Pittsburgh, PA, and Brock Mashburn of Harmony, PA; step-son, James Hodson of Marion, Indiana; daughter, Jacki Treadway of Shawnee, Oklahoma; two step-daughters, Nicole Hodson of Marion, Indiana, and Jennifer Swafford (Ryan) of Gas City, Indiana; twin brother, Larry Mashburn of Utah; brother, Darrell (Daina) Mashburn of Utah; and Ron Johnson of Utah; grandchildren, Lily Treadway, Kaylie Treadway, Jordan Hodson, Haley Swafford and Rilynn Swafford; and great-granddaughter, Adalae Fansler-Reed.
There will be no visitation or funeral services.
