Gerrick A. Evans, age 23, of Marion, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in his home.
He was born on September 15, 1998 in Marion, Indiana the son of Keith (Tiffany) Evans and Wendi (Bennett) Chapelo. Gerrick was a graduate of Oak Hill High School in 2017. He played football since he was 5 years old all the way up until he graduated. He also enjoyed basketball, baseball and wrestling and being with his friends.
Gerrick loved his family more than anything. He was most passionate about deer hunting, and he could spend hours in a tree. He enjoyed golfing with his Dad, brother and family, football, especially the Indianapolis Colts and just loved all sports in general. Gerrick loved being outside, and riding and racing his Harley Modified Street Glide with his Dad. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and cared for all of the family and his friends.
Words haven’t even been created on how special he was to every single person he ever met. His heart was the biggest out of anyone.
