Gerry Hardwick, Sr., age 53, of Marion, passed away Monday, July 4, 2011, at his home, in Marion, Indiana. Our dearly beloved brother fought a good fight, until the Heavenly Angels escorted him to Heaven.
Gerry was born on December 29, 1957, in Birmingham, Alabama, the son of the late David Hardwick and Norma Jean (Tellis) Hardwick. He worked for VanDyne Moving and Storage and was an Army veteran who served as a Communications Specialist.
Gerry enjoyed all sports, but was especially an avid fan of the New York Yankees, the New York Jets and the New York Giants.
