Gladys Ellen Carter, age 96, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at Wesleyan Health Care, Marion, Indiana.
Gladys was born January 25, 1917, in Marshall County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Noah and Dobie (Corsey) Peck. She married James Luther Carter on July 4, 1975 and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include: son, James Carter of Marion, Indiana; daughter, Bonnie (Arthur) Barkley of Peru, Indiana.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Paul E. Carter; and a daughter, Patricia Ann Bishir.
There will be no viewing or services.
