Glen Herbort

Glen Herbort, age 61, of Marion, passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023 in his home.

Glen was born on April 11, 1962 in Marion, Indiana, the son of Ray and Carol (Murphy) Herbort.  His parents survive.

He was a graduate of Bennett High School in 1980, and attended St. Paul Catholic Church in Marion.  He enjoyed metal detecting and ice fishing.  He had a pet cat, Callie who was a stray that he took in, and his dog, Belle preceded him in death.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Jeff (Kathy) Herbort of Marion, Roger (Suzett) Herbort of Converse, and Mark (Debbie) Herbort of Dalton, Georgia; 3 nephews; 4 nieces, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Don Herbort; and grandparents, James and Louella Murphy, and Eugene and Delores Cullen.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at Noon with Father Ted Rothrock officiating.
