Glen Carl Voight, age 66, of Marion, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013, in his home.
Glen was born March 8, 1947, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Frederick and Marie (Pace) Voight. He married Linda Lee Green in February 1984, and she preceded him in death on March 23, 1993. He was a 1965 graduate of Van Buren High School.
Glen retired from General Tire and was the owner of Florine's. He was a member of the Sons of American Legion, the Sons of Amvets, the Bar Owner's Association, the F.O.P., and a lifetime member of the Eagles. He was an avid Indianapolis Colts fan and loved to golf.
Survivors include: his companion, Juanita Marlowe and her family of Marion, Indiana; children, Shayne Voight Floyd of Atlanta, Georgia, Lance Hodge of Marion, Heather (Trent) Nucomb of Plymouth, Katherine Murray of Jonesboro, Craig Murray of Muncie, Angela Murray of Marion, and Evonne Hamilton of Marion; sister, Diana Voight Kearney of Marion; niece, Danielle (Frankie) Biddle of Swayzee; grandchildren, Olivia, Jack, Kali, Wesley, Ashley, Gabby, Kylie, Austin, Jr. Jr. (Eastin), Blake, Chase, and Madison; and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Eli and one on the way (Turner).
He was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Carl Voight.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
