Gloria Jean Barrett

Gloria Jean Barrett, age 70, of Marion, went to be with Jesus at 1:19 p.m. on Saturday October 14, 2017.

Gloria was born September 6, 1947 in Wabash, Indiana to Edward and Katherine (Dailey) Harvey. She worked at United Tech for 22 years assembling air conditioners and heaters.

She is survived by one daughter, Debbie (Dennis) Young of Marion; three sons, Phillip Conliff, Fairmount, Mark (Shannon) Conliff, Jonesboro, and Jason (Amy) Conliff, Orlando, Florida; one sister, Nancy J. Ball, Marion; one brother, Mike (Pamela) Harvey, Palm Bay, Florida; and brother in-law, Bill Niverson, Marion.  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Shaleea Conliff, Shane (Marlene) Conliff, Ashley Conliff, Phillip M. Conliff, Austin Conliff, Cheyenne Conliff, Taylor Conliff, Cami Conliff, Morgan Conliff, Alexander Conliff and Piper Conliff, and five great-grandchildren, Hayden, Ty, Keigun, Kayliona, and Keirah.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Niverson.

Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family by going camping at Dewart Lake. Gloria loved watching all kinds of movies, shopping, and spending time with her cats. She also enjoyed listening to Gaither gospel music.

Friends and family may call from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2017, and from 10:00 a.m. until services on Thursday, October 19, 2017 in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2017 in the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Vernon officiating.

Burial will follow funeral services in Riverside Cemetery, Gas City, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion-Grant County Humane Society, 505 S. Miller Avenue, Marion, Indiana.
