Hazel H. (Hoggatt) Maley

Hazel H. Maley, age 98, of Fairmount, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014, in her home.
Hazel was born May 22, 1915, in Madison County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Alvin and Juanita (Arnold) Hoggatt. She married Walter Maley, and he preceded her in death on September 26, 1992. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodland Hills Church of Christ.
Survivors include: daughter, Marilyn (Robert) Whitehead of Fairmount, Indiana; grandchildren, Brian (Susan) Whitehead, Jeremy (Angela) Whitehead, David (Mary) Maley, and Douglas (Amy) Maley; and several great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Norman Maley; a daughter, Lois Elaine Maley; two sisters, Phyllis Smith and Anna Houslein; and granddaughter, Lori Monroe.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Evangelist Alan Jones officiating.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home prior to funeral services.
Burial will be held at a later date.
