Hezekiah Plummer

Hezekiah Plummer, age 81, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at the VA Medical Center, Indianapolis, Indiana.
Hezekiah was born December 2, 1930, in Owingsville, Kentucky, the son of the late Lloyd and Ollie (Goodpastor) Plummer.
Hezekiah was an Army veteran serving during the Korean War and worked at the VA Hospital in Marion for 35 years.
He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed mushroom hunting, going to rummages, music, playing the guitar and piano. He was a member of the Water Street Baptist Church in Jonesboro, and the American Legion Post #95. He also enjoyed feeding the squirrels and birds.
Survivors include: son, Rickie (Rosa) Plummer of Gas City, Indiana; three daughters, Loeta (Richard) Bollhoefer of Marion, Indiana, Sheila Kellems of Fairmount, Indiana, and Peggy Beard of Marion, Indiana; brother, David Plummer of Marion, Indiana; two sisters, Irene Smith and Loretta Hogge, both of Marion, Indiana; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Jane and Gladys; daughter, Bonnie Plummer; and granddaughter, Laurel Plummer-Miller.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
