Idola "Dolie" Bartel

Idola "Dolie" Garrett Bartel, age 99, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Miller's Merry Manor, Marion, Indiana.
Dolie was born September 4, 1915, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Foyst) Hussong.
She was a homemaker and a member of Christland United Methodist Church and the Eagles. Dolie was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed bowling and going to the casino boats.
Survivors include: son, Jerry Lee (Crystal) Garrett of Marion, Indiana; two grandchildren, James (Denise) Garrett and Andra Garrett, both of Marion, Indiana; great-grandchildren, Bailey and Emily Garrett; step great-granddaughter, Lacey Milton; three brothers, Ernest, Joe & Ralph Hussong; sister, Elnora Bonifield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Garrett in 1964 and second husband, Fred Bartel in 1989.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. There will be no funeral services. Cremation will take place.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana at a later date.
