Ira Lee Story, age 67, passed away Friday, November 28, 2014, at Community Howard Regional Health, Kokomo, Indiana.
Lee was born July 11, 1947, in Marion, Indiana.
He was a graduate of Oak Hill High School, and then served four years in the U.S. Navy. Lee was a bartender at the Hacienda Restaurant in Kokomo for 25 years, retiring in 2011.
Survivors include: his life partner, Jeffrey Rice of Kokomo, Indiana; brother, Don (Debbie) Mathews of Fairmount, Indiana; two sisters, Rose (Larry) Couch of Gas City, Indiana, and Jennie (Charlie) Deaton of Converse, Indiana; and many special friends, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents, Roy and Mary (Columbus) Matthews.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place and at Lee's request, his ashes will be given to his special niece.
