Irene M. Hazlett, age 78, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013, in her residence.
Irene was born September 24, 1935, in Alexandria, Indiana, the daughter of the late Hubert and Gladys (Pattison) Sullivan. She married Charles Hazlett on April 14, 1959, and he survives.
Irene attended Summitville School and graduated from Jefferson Township. She was an employee at RCA from 1954 to 1970, and was owner and operator of Sulky Whip in Converse for 14 years. She also attended the Methodist Church in Summitville.
Survivors include; husband Charles Hazlett; son Mark Hazlett of Marion, Indiana; grandson, Graig Charles Hazlett of Marion; brother Ronald (Pamela K) Sullivan of Van Buren; sisters, Vivian Sullivan Barnes of Warsaw, Maureen (Glenn) Sullivan Skillman of Alexandria, and Donna (Curtis) Sullivan Simpkins of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
