Jack E. Fields, age 85, of Marion, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 in his residence.

Jack was born June 3, 1930, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Carl and Pearl (Anderson) Fields. He married Norma Jean Burns on August 28, 1954 and she survives.

He retired from RCA after many years of service there. Jack was a United States Army Veteran. He attended Lighthouse Assembly of God. He loved spending weekends at Long Lake, fishing, going to Jackie's Restaurant with the gang and his yearly trip to Gatlinburg with Jean every Fall. He was an avid Marion Giants fan. He faithfully and lovingly visited Norma Jean every day at the nursing home for the last 6 years, after caring for her for years at home after she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

Survivors include; wife, Norma Jean (Burns) Fields of Marion, Indiana; daughter, Susan (David) Rose of Indianapolis, Indiana; four grand-daughters, Stephanie Banks-Auler of Marion, Indiana, Stacie (Nick) Vetor of Noblesville, Indiana, Samantha (Zach) Callahan of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Shelbie (Jeremy) Tarter of Fishers, Indiana; and eight great-grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Taylor, Becca, Allie, Norah, Olivia, and Tinley who is due in February.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Tim Helm officiating.

Burial will follow funeral services in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.

Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home prior to the service.
