James R. Davis, age 76, formerly of Marion, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at the Physicians Regency Memorial Center in Naples, Florida.
James was born August 7, 1935, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Emery Gerald and Thelma Lois (Renbarger) Davis.
James earned his Bachelor's degree at Indiana University and was a banker. He was also an Army veteran and had lived the summer in Cleveland, Ohio and the winter months in Naples, Florida.
Survivors include: sister, Pat Swaim of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; two nephews, Kent Swaim (Jessica) of Dayton, Ohio, and Kurt Swaim (Jill) of Frankfort, Kentucky; three great-nephews, William, James & Caleb; and one great-niece, Athalia.
He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Rex Swaim.
Graveside Services & Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana, with Reverend Kevin Boyd officiating
