James L. Gibson, age 48, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana.
James was born September 14, 1965, in Honolulu, Hawaii, the son of the late James H. and Ann (Johnson) Gibson. He married Robyn Morral on March 4, 2000, and she survives.
James was a Chemical Manager for Quaker Chemical. He enjoyed karate at the Y.M.C.A., and golfing in a league with GM every Wednesday. He also loved gaming with his son and spending time with his family.
Survivors include: his wife, Robyn of Marion, Indiana; son, Zachary of Marion, Indiana; step-mother, Marie Gibson of Ormond Beach, Florida; four sisters, Wendy of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, Terri (Marshall) of Lemoore, California, Laurie (Joey) of Bedford, Virginia, and Carol (Keith) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 4 nephews and 4 nieces.
Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Mark Kemple officiating. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
