JANE SEGRAVES, age 86, died at 11:50 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2008, at Miller's Merry Manor, Marion.
JANE was born on January 17, 1922, in Delphos, Ohio, the daughter of the late George Schaffer and Cecilia (McKowen) Schaffer. She was a graduate of St. John's High School, Delphos, Ohio.
On July 17, 1943, she married Thomas Michael Segraves. He preceded her in death on August 29, 1996. She worked at Auto Owner's Insurance in Marion until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church; the Altar Rosary Society and Daughter of Isabelle. She also volunteered at St. Martin DePorres Center and St. Paul Catholic School.
Survivors include Son, Michael Segraves (Susan) of Phoenix, Arizona; Daughters, Susan Gartland (Pat) of Marion, Indiana; Janie Snow & Julie Segraves, both of Denver; Annie Segraves (Kip May) of Bloomington, Indiana and Kristine Papa (Brian) of Frankfort, Illinois; Grandchildren, Leighanne Segraves, Patrick Gartland (Kate), Robert Gartland, Kelley Karn (Ron), Stephanie Kaser (David), Kevin Gartland, Cameron Kimball, Carmen May, and Natalie Papa; and 9 Great-Grandchildren.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 27, 2008, at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Father Richard Weisenberger officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 26 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
