JANIE D. CLIPPER, age 60, of Marion, died at 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2008, at home.
JANIE was born on April 18, 1947, in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of the late Samuel N. and Mary Frances (Davis) Crane. She is survived by her husband Ronald Clippper. They were married June 10, 1966.
She previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Bradner Village Health Care for over 10 years.
While living in California, she was very active in the Special Olympics and little league baseball. She attended the Chapel Pike Wesleyan Church in Marion. She was a caregiver, loved her animals and collected angels.
Survivors include Husband, Ronald Clipper of Marion, Indiana; Son, Rod Clipper (Casey) of North Huntington, Pennsylvania; Daughter, Rhonda Holmes (David) of Ontario, California; God-Daughter, Krystina D'Angelo of Latrobe, Pennsylvania; Sister, Jeannine Sessler (Arnold) of Horse Heads, New York; Step-Sisters, Judy Creel (John) of Newport Beach, California & Patricia Howell of Montreal, Canada; Grandchildren, Nick & Tyler Clipper and Emma & Hannah Holmes and her beloved pets, Angel, Tia, Timmy, Little Bit.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Chapel Pike Wesleyan Church, 2171 W. Chapel Pike with Reverend Steve Coulter officiating.
Friends may call from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. & from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the church.
