Jeanette H. Thomas, age 90, of Northwood Manor, Marion went to be with the Lord at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at Wesleyan Health Care Center, Marion.
Jeanette was born on October 24, 1918, in Grant County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Clarence and Jessie (Leer) Hannah. She married Addis O. Thomas February 14, 1946. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1996.
She was a mother, homemaker, respiratory therapist at Marion General Hospital and a beautician. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Phi Chi Epsilon Sorority. She enjoyed cooking and loved to spend time with family and friends.
Survivors include: three sons, Tom Thomas (Connie) of New Castle, Indiana; Bill Thomas (Jane Kay) of Fishers, Indiana; and Butch Thomas (Patti) of Fishers, Indiana; three daughters, Mrs. Steve Young (Mary) of Cadillac, Michigan; Mrs. Bruce Oyler (Susie) of Marion, Indiana; and Mrs. Steve Moritz (Cathy) of Marion, Indiana; 13 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Imogene Bade.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home with Reverend Mark O'Brien officiating.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 23 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
