Jessica D. (Ashbrooke) Rooney, age 27, went to be with Jesus Wednesday, August 3, 2011.
Jessica was born on July 5, 1984, in Ft. Knox, Kentucky, the daughter of Clark and Angelika (Sesar) Ashbrooke. She was an auto mechanic for Honda.
Jessica enjoyed bowling, collecting toys and being around people. She especially loved spending time with her son and family.
Survivors include: parents, Clark and Angelika Ashbrooke; son, Xavier Rooney; ex-husband, James Rooney; former in-laws, Joe (Lou Ann) Rooney; aunts, Brigitte (Wayne) Phillips, Glenda Fuller, Kerstin (Tony) Cosme', Martina (Kevin) Goetz, and Ilona Justice; uncles, Manfred (Margold) Sesar, Hartmut Sesar, and Gary (Starlynn) Ashbrooke; and several cousins.
Jessica was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert (Willy) Ashbrooke; and maternal grandparents, Gunter (Helene) Sesar.
Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2011, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Reverend Terry Samples & Reverend Gary Ashbooke officiating.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 7, 2011, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
