JOHN H "JACK" BOSLER, age 78, of Paramount, Calfornia, died on Thursday, February 26, 2009, in Los Angeles.
JACK was born on March 24, 1930, in Hartford City, Indiana, the son of the late Harry and Clara (Blake) Bosler.
He grew up in Marion, and graduated from St Paul High School in 1948. He served in the U.S. Army from 1951 to 1953. After discharge from the Army, Jack attended x-ray technician school in Indianapolis. He moved to California in 1955 and was employed by Rockwell as a fissure analyst on components used in the Apollo and Space Shutle programs until his retirement in 1992.
Survivors include Brother, Byron Bosler (Noella) of Ft Wayne, In, Sister, Letty Masterson (Tom) of Marion, In, Nieces:Sue Ehrman (Mike) of Noblesville, In. and Nancy Bosler of Ft Wayne, In, Nephews: Dean Masterson of Crossville, Tn and Brian Masterson (Tina) of South Bend, In. 12 Great Neices/Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Harry & Ted Bosler.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2009, at St Paul Catholic Church, with Father Richard Wiesenberger officiating. There will be no calling.
Burial will be in Hartford City Cemetery, Hartford City, Indiana.
