Joseph Bratch, age 82, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014, in Marion, Indiana.
Joseph was born January 7, 1932, the son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Maske) Bratch. He was an Army veteran and worked at the Marion General Motors plant until his retirement.
Joseph was a member of the American Legion; the U.A.W.; and the GM Sympathy Club. He always made sure there was a fresh flag on his flag pole. One of his favorite past times, was watching Nick at Nite, and eating junk food. He also enjoyed being outside and watching birds. Joseph especially enjoyed the monthly family get-togethers, going to the Senior Center and fellowship with friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Paulette Stennis of Marion, Indiana, and Nancy (Frank) Dooley of Tennessee; son, Ralph (Jody) Bratch of Florida; sister, "Wanda" Alice McNeeley of Wabash, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sons, Donald and Robert Bratch; and brother, James Bratch.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial with military honors will follow in LaFontaine I.O.O.F. Cemetery, LaFontaine, Indiana.
Friends may call from noon to 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2014, in the funeral home prior to funeral services.
