BRAD LEACH, JR., age 65, died at 8:03 a.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2009, at the Twin City Health Care, Gas City, Indiana.
He was born July 1, 1944, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Lewis B. Leach, Sr. and Deloris (Curtis) Leach. He married Sharon Hoffmann in 1989. She preceded him in death on October 21, 1998.
He was a Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict. After his service in the Navy, he was part of the Air Force Reserves and the Indiana Air National Guard. He was a truck driver for various companies until his retirement in 2006.
He was a member of the Teamsters Union; the Samaritan Lodge #105 F&AM; the Scottish Rite Valley of Ft. Wayne and ABATE. He loved his yellow Harley, watching NASCAR and was a Tony Stewart fan.
Survivors include two sons, Robert L. Leach of Anderson, Indiana and Shawn T. Leach of College Station, Texas; daughter, Angela Deloris Leach of Fairmount, Indiana; two grandsons, Kaleb & Kiley Leach; his "sugar mamma", Marsha Miller of Marion, Indiana; best friends, Scarecrow and Ron & Kelly Mullins, and his dog, "Littlebit".
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ervin.
Masonic Services with full Military Honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana at a later date.
