Kathryn Croom Clouser, age 95, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at her daughter's home where she was living.
Kathryn was born on January 1, 1920 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Crawford and Bess (Jarrett) Edington. She married Robert Croom in 1936, and they moved to Marion, Indiana. He preceded her in death in 1955. Kathryn and Robert had four children. Kathryn then married Fred Clouser in October 1963, and he also preceded her in death in 2011.
Kathryn is survived by daughters, Beverly (Ralph) Pritchett, Sue (Jerry) Scott, Donna (Denny) Jones and Trina Clouser Elzroth; son, Dave (Bev) Clouser; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and both husbands, she was also preceded in death by sons, Bobby Croom, Fred Clouser, Jr., Alan Clouser and Brad Clouser; grandson, Greg Clouser; great-grandson, Micah Pritchett; and two brothers, Frank and Crawford Edington.
The family would sincerely like to thank Angels of Mercy and Gentiva Hospice for their loving care.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015, in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Reverend John Morgan officiating. There will be no visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
