Kenneth W. "Kenny" Ahrens

Kenneth W. "Kenny" Ahrens, age 61, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Miller's Merry Manor, Marion, Indiana.
Kenny was born September 13, 1952, in Anderson, Indiana, the son of the late Donald and Opal (Seybert) Ahrens. He retired from the Carpenters Local Union No. 232, Ft. Wayne.
Kenny loved to golf and was a sports fanatic, especially of the Cubs, the Colts & the Pacers. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 10, Marion; and the Carpenters Local Union No. 232, Ft. Wayne.
Survivors include: daughter, Tiffany (Randy) Kidwell of Marion, Indiana; son, Timothy Ahrens of Marion, Indiana; brother, Richard (Deloris) Ahrens; sister, Anita Applegate; grandchildren, Andrew Ahrens, Dylan Ahrens, and Chloe Kidwell; a large extended family and many close friends.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Ahrens.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Pastor Darrin Williams officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana at a later date.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 15, in the funeral home prior to funeral services.
