Kenneth Wayne Goodwin

Kenneth Wayne Goodwin passed away on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2014, in his home. It was also his 65th birthday.
Kenneth was born and spent most of his life in Marion, Indiana where he was a 1968 graduate of Marion High School. As a youth, he was active in all sports, but he excelled in baseball. He was a member of Central Christian Church.
Despite many years of debilitating chronic pain, he never expressed anger or resentment. He always shared a happy outlook and was always glad to see you. He never met a stranger and you always left with a smile. He was a happy soul.
He is survived by his loving mother, Bonnie Goodwin of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; his brother, Terry Goodwin of Greentown, Indiana; and his sister, Linda (Bradley) Hiatt of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; and aunts, Myra Jones and Jeanne (Jack) Turner, both of Florida.
He was also preceded in death by his loving father, Earl Allen Goodwin.
A family memorial with graveside services and burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in the chapel at Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana with Reverend John Buckley officiating.
