Kenneth J. "Kenny" Sites

June 13, 1960 — September 8, 2015

Kenneth "Kenny" J. Sites, age 55, of Swayzee, Indiana, went home to meet His loving Saviour on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in Marion General Hospital.

He was born June 13, 1960 to the late Doyne Sites and Zela "Faye" (Small) Sites. His mother survives. He married Teresa Nelson on August 2, 1980, and she also survives.

He was a graduate of Oak Hill School in 1978, and earned his Bachelor's degree at Purdue University in 1984. Kenny was currently a pharmacist at CVS, and had also worked at the VA, Marion General Hospital, Wal-Mart and Meijer.

Kenny was a member of Maple Run Friends Church and loved spending time with his family. He was also a great cook and enjoyed shopping, music, and being on Facebook. He was an avid reader and spent countless hours digging deeper into God's word.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Sites of Swayzee, Indiana; his mother, Zela "Faye" Sites of Swayzee, Indiana; brother, Gary (Elva) Sites of Fairmount, Indiana; sister, Janelle Wilson of Gas City, Indiana; sisters-in-law, Della (Joe) Greentree of Pt. Isabel, Indiana, Susan (Mark) Artherhults of Jalapa, Indiana and Sally Fear of Florida; brother-in-law, Mark Nelson (Nick Paternostro) of Massachusetts; mother-in-law, Rebecca Nelson of Sweetser, Indiana; stepmother, Vina Sites of Gas City, Indiana; stepsisters, Hellen Justus of Fairmount, Indiana and Sharon (Chris) Hoyt of Muncie, Indiana; his dog, Kuma; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by sister, Barbara Buck; father-in-law, Burr Nelson; brother-in-law, Steve Nelson; and sister-in-law, Kimberly Nelson.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015, Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Pastors John Key and Larry Hale officiating.

Burial will follow funeral services in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2015 in the funeral home.
