Larry E. Burnsworth, age 79, loving husband and family man who enjoyed being a grandfather, passed away at home on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

He was born on May 22, 1941 to the late Clayton and Bonita (Cummings) Burnsworth in Sweetser.  He was married to Sue Ellen (Sanger) Burnsworth who survives.  They celebrated 56 years of marriage this year.

Larry graduated from Marion High School.  Always involved in the car business in sales, service, and management; retiring from Matthew’s Buick Dealership as the Collision Department Manager.  He loved a good project and could often be found making home improvements.  He cherished the time he and his wife spent together traveling, volunteering and attending local events.  He also delighted in spending time with his grandchildren and watching them perform in school and sports activities.  He enjoyed the sports channels following professional tennis, the Colts, Pacers, Cubs and Notre Dame.   Larry’s life reflected an example of patience, love and encouragement to his family.  He was a kind, forgiving, hardworking guy who will definitely be missed and remembered.  He was a member of Andrew Manor Neighborhood Association; St. Paul Catholic Church; and former member of the Elk’s Country Club.
