Larry A. Smith

Larry A. Smith, age 71, of Marion, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Marion Rehab, Marion, Indiana.
Larry was born October 15, 1942, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late George and Madonna (Robison) Smith. Larry worked in auto sales.
Larry was a U.S. Army/Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam Conflict and Desert Storm. He was a member of the American Legion Post 10; the Amvets; and a life-time member of the V.F.W. and D.A.V.
Survivors include: son, Brian Smith of Gas City, Indiana; daughter, Hollie Ann Hirst of Bloomington, Indiana; sister, Judith L. Alexander, and 3 grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a son, Neil M. Smith, and brother, Richard D. Smith.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2014, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014, in the funeral home.
