LILLIAN K. WOLF, age 92, of Marion, died at 3:10 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2009, at Colonial Oaks Health Care Center, Marion.
She was born on September 3, 1916, in Paris, Kentucky, the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Gay) Medlen. She married Russell Wolf who preceded her in death in 1995. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of First Friends Church. She was a former member of the American Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Moose Lodge, Marion. She also volunteered at Marion General Hospital and was awarded "Volunteer of the Month". She loved to do word search puzzles and was meticulous about writing cards and letters to friends and family.
Survivors include sister, Joan Cline (Jack) of Marion, Indiana; and several nieces & nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Donald & Eugene Medlen, a sister, Mary Louise Kinneman, and cousin, Mary Gay.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Pastor Robert Garra & Pastor John D. Wolf officiating.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
