Linda Lou Secrest

Linda Lou Secrest, age 68 of Converse passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 in her home.

Linda was born on August 16, 1951 in Tateville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Thomas O. and Lura (Hill) Roberts.  She married Richard Secrest on June 21, 1967 and he preceded her in death on April 19, 2004.

She was a member of the Eagles Lodge #227 Auxiliary in Marion where she enjoyed playing Bingo.  Linda loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing and camping with her girls.

She is survived by a daughter Jennifer Hillsamer and 2 grandchildren, Emily Marie Hillsamer and Olivia Lauren Hillsamer of Converse; two sisters, Joyce Libby of Converse and Rosie (Steve) Roy of Jonesboro.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence R. Roberts and Thomas O. Roberts; and a sister, Sally Roberts.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.   Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Charles Sluss officiating.

Burial will take place following funeral services in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana at 2:00 p.m.
