Linda S. Zimmerman passed away on March 15, 2015. She leaves behind her husband, Dr. Evan Feist, children Andrew (Amy) Lowell, Alyson (Anthony) D'Angelo, Michael (Ellen) Feist, Dara (David) Ryan and 7 grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, Helen and Allan Zimmerman.

Born and raised in Marion, Indiana, she received her bachelor's degree in education from Indiana University and master's degree in speech pathology from the University of North Carolina. Linda was past president of Temple Beth El sisterhood and one of the founders of its preschool. As director of the Fresh Start program at Daytona Beach Community College, she helped women get back into the workplace and enhance their lives. Always active in her communities, she was a board member of the Kosciusko County Tourism Board and founder of the Syracuse Artisans and Farmer's Market in Syracuse, Indiana. Linda's passion was art, and she was an award winning fabric artist. It is said that some people come into our lives and pass quickly, while the special ones linger for a while and leave footprints of love and influence that last forever. Linda was one of those special people, and for those of us she touched, we are forever blessed.
