God saw her pain and suffering she possessed was more than she could bear and said he was taking her home today. Elaine Hillman, 73; a woman of courage and strength passed from this life to a life in paradise with GOD our Father on August 31, 2013 in Swayzee, IN.
Elaine retired from Tulox Plastics Corp after 34 years of service.
Elaine was born in Zanesville, OH to Elmer Frame Sr. and Thelma Waxler-Frame who preceded her in death. She married Rodney ‘Dutch' Smith July 21, 1956; he preceded her in death and she went on to marry Stephen Hillman Jan 17, 1987; he preceded her in death as well. Elaine was also preceded in death by her brothers Elmer, Steven, twin sister/brother Dixie and Dickey, twin brother/sister David and Doris and sisters Vera and Jean.
In addition to her two daughters; Peggy Binnion and Teresea Black, Elaine leaves to celebrate her life and memory her ‘special' son in law; Richard Binnion, her sister Brenda (Steve) Scott, 3 grandchildren; Sandra McClung Thomas, Angela Smith and Deedra McClung; 7 great grandchildren; De'Aric Smith, Jay'Quan Thompkins, Cortney Caldwell, Ce'Andra Jackson, Diamond Kyle, Zarvon Smith and Amarion Davis, 2 great-great grandchildren; Christopher Greer and Cy'ree Scott- Jackson, 4 step grandchildren: Regina, Kim, Kelly and Rachelle; 8 step great grandchildren; 1 step great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She also leaves behind her dog, Precious who has been her companion since losing her husband Stephen in 2005.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013, in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W Kem Road, Marion, Indiana, with Chaplain Don Miller officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Gas City, Indiana following services.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 5, 2013, in the funeral home.

Don't think of her as gone away her journey's just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
And think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched…for nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much.
