Louis F. Fleck

Louis F. Fleck, age 81, of Sweetser, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010, at home.

Louis was born on October 6, 1928, in Findlay, Ohio, the son of the late Arthur and Agnes (Eishen) Fleck. He was a graduate of Findlay High School. On February 16, 1952, he married Roseann Brennan who preceded him in death on February 10, 1997.

He was a US Army veteran. Louis was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He worked in tool & die at the General Motors Plant in Marion for 35 years, retiring in 1974. He was also very active in the GM Union and its retiree activities and initiated Fisher Body Coachman Campers.

Survivors include two sons, Joseph Fleck of New Albany, Indiana and John Fleck (Kelly) of Clearfield, Kentucky; four daughters, Kathy Pope (Dan) of Williston, Florida, Kris Fleck of Findlay, Ohio, Pat Farley (Thom) of Muncie, Indiana and Karen Grubb (Brad) of Westfield, Indiana; four brothers, Jim Fleck of Fishers, Indiana, Bernard Fleck of Findlay, Ohio, Bill Fleck (Mary Jean) of Findlay, Ohio and Mike Fleck (Sue) of San Francisco, California; four sisters, Cecilia McKinley, Agnes Currie, Mary Stoll and Phyllis McAdoo (Jerry), all of Findlay, Ohio; 16 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 19, 2010, at St. Paul Catholic Church, with Father Richard Weisenberger officiating.

Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Sweetser, Indiana.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
