Mabel "Roseann" Boucher

April 29, 1942 — August 14, 2008

MABEL "ROSEANN" BOUCHER, 66, died on Thursday, August 14, 2008, in Marion General Hospital, peacefully with her loving family by her side.

ROSEANN was born as a twin on May 29, 1942, to Preston and Lois Brock. Her twin brother, Charles Allen, passed away after birth. Roseann Married Rex Boucher February 3, 1963. Roseann sold Tupperware for several years. She worked at the election polls for numerous years. She loved to volunteer at the Marion VA hospital. She was a member of the American War Mother's organization and helped in mother's day workshops for the veteran's to come and shop for gifts for their mothers. She always said that she did so because she would want someone to do that for her child. She was very proud to be an American. She served as State President of the American War Mother's organization for two years. She had also been a member of a local Home Ec. Club. All these things gave her the chance to talk with friends or strangers which she truly loved to do. She also enjoyed her summers at the lake. Her family was very dear to her heart. She collected pigs and enjoyed working word search puzzles and quilting.

Roseann is survived her husband of 45 years, Rex Boucher. Three children, Lori Ann (Kevin) Harlan, Brian Boucher and Connie (Jamie) Plummer all of Marion. Four grandchildren, Darrin Boucher, Dustin Harlan, Andrea Brookshire and Caitlin Plummer. She is also survived by two cousins, Bob (Monzell) Maynard and Dick (Donna) Maynard. In addition to her twin brother, she was proceeded in death by her parents, and a sister Georgia Kay.

Services will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, August 19 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Reverend Mick Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Thrailkill Cemetery, Swayzee, Indiana. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M, Monday, August 18 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
