Marcella Hulley Mayordomo, age 99, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Colonial Oaks Health Care & Rehabilitation Center, Marion, Indiana.
Marcella was born on January 10, 1913, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Paul and Cecil (Imler) Landis. In 1971, she retired to Cherokee Village in Arkansas. She married Robert Hulley in June of 1929, and he preceded her in death in April 1980. In 1981, she married Luis Mayordomo and he preceded her in death in 1994.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Marion where she was active in many of the activities there during the 50's and 60's. She was a life member of the WCTU, and was a past president of the Grant County Council of Church Women.
Survivors include: three sons, Robert (Haley) Hulley of Lexington, Kentucky, William (Kathy) Hulley of Scotts Hill, Tennessee, David (Betty) Hulley of Marion, Indiana; brother, Robert (Mary) Landis of Sebring, Florida; grandchildren, Charlotte (Jack) Picker, Florida, Marjorie (Bruce) Glaves, Florida, John (Leslie) Hulley, Florida, Donna (Kirby) Kongable, Arizona, Rhonda (Chip) Albright, Singapore, Michael (Kathy) Hulley, Colorado, Karen Hulley, Tennessee, Marc Hulley, Illinois, and Mary (Thomas) Waller, Virginia; 11 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; special nieces, Carol (Roger) Cardwell of Marion, Indiana, and Janet (Bill) Lehrer, Florida; and nephew, Dick (Sharon) Landis, Ohio.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul A. Landis, and a granddaughter, Jennifer Shopoff.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2012, at Estates of Serenity Cemetery, Marion, Indiana. Burial will follow.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
