MARCIA R. MUNSEY, age 70, of Marion, died on Friday, June 6, 2008, at Indianapolis University Medical Center, Indianapolis.
MARCIA was born on July 16, 1937, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of the late Wellman Munsey and the late Ruth Hill.
MARCIA graduated second in her class from Ball State University in 1957. She was a Registered Nurse at Marion General Hospital for many years.
She was an Air Force Officer and served in the White Angels Corps, flying on many occasions with Vice President Lyndon Johnson. She earned a Cuban Missle Crisis Ribbon.
She was a member of Unity Christian Church where she taught Sunday School and led Bible Study.
Survivors include Brother, Neil Munsey (JoLynn) of Galveston, Indiana; Brother-in-law, Larry Clark of Kokomo, Indiana and numerous neices and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Monita Clark.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Reverend Warren Purcell officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 10 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
