Margaret E. Bandy

Margaret E. Bandy, age 92, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Sterling House, Marion. Margaret was born June 8, 1918, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Claude E. and Edna B. Enslen. On October 24, 1962, she married Irvin Bandy and he survives. She worked as a cook for Marion Community Schools. She was a member of God's Grace Ministries United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: husband, Irvin Bandy; sons, Robert (Lillian) Pearson and Robert (Diana) Bandy; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Billie Jo Enslen.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Enslen and William Enslen; and sister, Juanita Whiteman.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, with Pastor Mary Eileen Spence officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
