MARGARET F. HURST, age 81, of Daleville, formerly of Marion, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at the Heart Center of Indiana, Indianapolis, Indiana.
MARGARET was born on April 29, 1926, in Lexington, Kentucky, the daughter of the late James J. and Nancy Lee (Dunn) Dismuke. She married Robert J. Hurst. He preceded her in death on February 25, 1978.
She worked as a lightbox inspector and in quality control at RCA. She also worked as an inspector for Indiana OSHA and as a dining room manager at the Sheraton Hotel for 8 1/2 years. She was a hairdresser at Beauty by Bellamy and owner of the Glittershop in Gas City.
She was a member of the ABWA, Marion and a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include Son, Jerry Brenner (Cathy) of Daleville, Indiana; Grandchildren, Mindy Groover (Rusty), James Lee Brenner (Dean Mascher), Stephanie Renee Fairchild (Marc) and Patrick Donovan; Great-Grandchildren, Kaleb & Nikki Dowler, Step-Great-Grandchildren, Venessa & Heather Groover and Madison Donovan and great-great grandchildren, Maddilyn & Trinidy Dowler.
Friends may call from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m., on Monday, March 17 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Graveside Services will immediately follow at Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
