Margaret L. Nelson, 88 of Marion, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at York Place Assisted Living in Marion.
Margaret was born December 13, 1925, in Marion, to the late Cecil and Hazel (Street) Pritchett. She married Robert Nelson on October 25, 1944 and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of First Friends Church in Marion and a member of the Golden Band Class. Margaret was very involved in church activities. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was also an accomplished quilter.
Survivors Include: two daughters, Robyn (Randy) Ropp of Jonesboro, IN, and Paula ( Ron) Rogers of Marion, IN; Brother, William Pritchett of Silver Lake, IN; Grandchildren, Christopher Veach, Natalie (Jay) Case, Nathan (Jennifer) Ropp, Adrienne (Henry) Elizondo, Miranda (Josh) DeVries, and Tyler (Sarah) Rogers; Seven Great-Grandchildren, & two on the way.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, November, 24, 2014 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, with Pastor Dane Leitch Officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Friends may call from Noon until 1:30 p.m., Monday November, 24, in the funeral home prior to funeral services.
