Marivonne I. Harrell, age 89, of Marion, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 in Marion Rehab.
Marivonne was born May 30, 1926, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of the late George and Mary (Woolbright) Sanders. She married Earl Harrell on March 1, 1946, and he survives.
Marivonne was a homemaker. She attended Central Christian Church and enjoyed sewing, counted cross-stitch, and she loved to read and play golf. Marivonne was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Wabash, Indiana and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Portage, Michigan.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Harrell of Marion, Indiana; son, Timothy (Barbara) Harrell of Mattawan, Michigan; two daughters, Anita (Daryl) Smith of Somerset, Indiana and Cynthia (Bruce) Brabon of Mattawan, Michigan; brother, Lowell (Beverly) Sanders of Gas City; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (noon) Monday, January 4, 2016, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Monday, January 4, 2016 in the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
Burial will be held immediately following funeral services in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
