Marjorie G. Dismuke, age 92, passed away at 7:35 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2012, at Miller's Merry Manor, Marion, Indiana.
Marjorie was born on December 13, 1919, in Clinton County, Frankfort, Indiana, the daughter of the late Guy and Mable (Moore) Snodgrass. She married James Dismuke who preceded her in death.
Marjorie was a nurse's aide at Marion General Hospital and later retired from St. John's in Anderson. She attended First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: son, John (Sharon) Collins of Upland, Indiana; three brothers, David Snodgrass of Frankfort, Indiana, Howard (Henrietta) Snodgrass of Frankfort, Indiana, and Dwight Snodgrass of Indianapolis, Indiana; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Jeanne Peterson, brother, Byron Snodgrass; two sisters, Mary Faye Alexander and Virginia Yale.
Services will be held at noon Saturday, January 21, 2011, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Joe Ruberg officiating.
Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until services at noon, on Saturday, January 21, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home,1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
Memorials may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses, in care of the funeral home.
