Martha Coleen McFarland, age 75, of Marion died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, Indiana.
She was born on May 21, 1932, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Jesse James and Anna Mae (Foudray) Gray. She married Larry McFarland on March 23, 1957. He survives.
She worked at RCA and Contempo Fashions. She was a member of Temple Congregational Church, Marion. She loved to fish, raise flowers and work in her flower beds. She was a big soap opera fan and loved to play Euchre, spend time at their lake home on Beaver Dam and was a fantastic cook.
Survivors include Husband, Larry; Son, Bob and daughter-in-law, Pam; Daughters, Melody & Rayneen; Brothers, James Gray (Kathy) & Bud Gray (Donna) all of Marion, Indiana; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Gene & Matt, a brother, Lionel and two sisters, Dorothy & Bonnie.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Temple Congregational Church, 1006 N. Western Avenue, Marion, with Reverend Dr. Marv Wiseman officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 14 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
