Mary Ann Moon, age 83, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010, in Miller's Merry Manor in Wabash.
Mary was born on March 29, 1927, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Homer and Bessie Hayes. She married Roy Moon on February 7, 1947. He survives.
Mary Ann's first job was at the Fairmount Theater in Marion. She then worked at Hill's Department Sotre, Roskin Jewelry Store, Marion Malleable and RCA from 1951 to 1987.
In addition to her husband, her survivors include, son, David W. Moon (Angie) of Urbana, Indiana; three grandsons, David Scott Moon of Monticello, Indiana, Michael Moon of Elwood, Indiana, and Adam Moon of Marion, Indiana; six great-grandchildren, Nathan Moon, Jessica Moon, Tyler Moon, Jacee Moon, Kamryn Moon, and Tanner Moon; brother, Homer (Bill) Hayes, Jr.; and good friends, Jeff and Cheryl Parrish.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John Hayes, and Paul Hayes.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
