Mary Jane Watson, age 84, passed away at 10:35 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2010, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center, Marion.
Mary was born on October 30, 1925, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Harry and Tressie (Loy) Neeley. She married Frank W. "Bill" Watson on August 2, 1946. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2002.
Mary was a homemaker and a former member of the 9th. Street United Methodist Church where she was active in the Women's Society.
Survivors include: son, Gary L. Watson (Joy) of Elwood, Indiana; daughter, Janell K. Lee (Steven) of Gas City, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Anne Watson of Swayzee, Indiana; sister, Carolyn Bennett, of Florida; nine grandchildren, Heidi, Kevin, Cami, Kylie, Monica, Christina, Christopher, Sam & Eric, and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Larry J. Watson; two brothers, Milton Neeley and Harry Neeley, Jr.; and two sisters, Idris Thompson and Lois Pence.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 24 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Reverend Charles Watson officiating.
Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 23, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
