MELINDA L. "MINDY" GAUSE, age 44, of Swayzee, died at 2:39 p.m. Monday, June 23, 2008, at Marion General Hospital, Marion.
MINDY was born on November 18, 1963, in Marion, Indiana, the daughter of the late Merrill Richard Wilson and Sue Anna (Dehne) Wilson. She married Steven Gause on February 24, 1984. He survives.
She was a member of the Roseburg Church of God where she was very active serving as the church secretary and Sunday school superintendent. She was a homemaker. Being a mother was her calling in life to her children and other children.
Survivors include Husband, Steven Gause of Swayzee, Indiana; Mother, Sue Anna Wilson of Swayzee, Indiana; Daughters, Kathy Sheetz (Mike) of Marion, Indiana and Ashley Gause of Swayzee, Indiana; Brother, David Wilson of Marion, Indiana; Sisters, Melanie Holland (Duane) of Marion, Indiana and Jayne Wilson (David Draper) of Jonesboro, Indiana; Nephew, James Wilson of Marion, Indiana and one Grandson, Jacob Sheetz.
She was also preceded in death by her father, Merrill R. Wilson and brother, William Wilson.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Tomlinson officiating.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
